Lisa Dewulf is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Educational Studies at Ghent University. Her PhD 'Teacher beliefs and teaching quality in segregated primary school classes: A study into the effects on students' language achievement' focussed on educational effectiveness in disadvantaged primary schools (supervision of Prof. Dr. Johan van Braak and Prof. Dr. Mieke Van Houtte). Currently, she is the National Coordinator of PIAAC for Belgium.
The Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) develops and conducts the Survey of Adult Skills. The survey measures adults' proficiency in key information-processing skills - literacy, numeracy and problem solving in technology-rich environments - and gathers information and data on how adults use their skills at home, at work and in the wider community.
