Short Bio

Lieselot Declercq

Lieselot has over 14 years of experience in various sectors of education. During her career as a teacher, she obtained a Msc in educational sciences from the Open University of the Netherlands and a Msc in educational sciences from Ghent University. She followed a BaNaBa care at Artevelde University College and marketing new technologies at Ghent University. She is trained for policy positions, DHOS and digital transformation training at Vlerick. She has experience as a blended learning officer at Ghent University within the quality assurance service. Lieselot has experience in education management, as a teaching assistant and conducted OBPWO research on behalf of Ghent University, UA and the Flemish government. She recently obtained a certificate ‘e-learning design lab’ at ITCILO. She is also industrial promoter for Maaike Grammens' Baekeland mandate on synchronous online teaching. She is a working student for the Master of International Relations and Diplomacy at UA. Lieselot is a voluntary PhD-student with the topic of ‘hybrid learning networks for professional development for online teachers’ at Ghent University.
